Each and every air tank is tested to ensure it can handle the maximum pressure it is rated for before leaving our factory. This includes filling the tank to its 12-13psi limit and them running it up over that level to see what happens. The tanks must pass these tests with exceptional results, or else they are returned for further adjustment
