Some air storage tank manufacturers may declare that they can produce air storage tanks according to ASME standards,but that does not mean they are authorized to affix the ASME stamp. Documents

Another important output of ASME certification is a complete set of documents. The air storage tank manufacturer must provide a complete data report including:

• • Manufacturing Data Report: This document, jointly signed by the manufacturer and AI, proves that the pressure vessel fully complies with ASME specifications.
  • A rubbing of the ASME nameplate.
  • Final manufacturing drawings.
  • Material certificates for major pressure-bearing components.
  • Welding procedure qualification records and welder qualification certificates.
  • Non-destructive testing reports (e.g., radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT) reports).
  • Hydrostatic test report.
  • Third-party inspection certificates.
